From 1978 – 1988 Paul represented Life Insurance Company’s providing a cafeteria of insurance and security products conducted fee-based advisory services to business and personal clients with the Massachusetts Mutual MML Securities.

Christopher J. Hathaway




Chris began his financial services career as a professional workers’ compensation claims administrator for a Michigan based National Trucking insurer, responsible for hundreds of claims in multiple states.  Eager for new challenges and an opportunity to expand on his experiences, Chris joined Arcadia Settlements Group (formerly known as EPS Settlements Group) in 2006.  As a Structured Settlement Consultant at Arcadia, Chris assists attorneys, claim adjusters, and claimants with negotiations for settlement on a wide variety of personal injury claims and litigation support, including physical injury, workers’ compensation, or non-qualified matters.  Chris continues to expand his knowledge base, currently pursuing his Financial Planners Designation.

Having 20 plus years of experience, Julie L. Nowak is an authority on past and present trends and developments in the Structured Settlement business.  Julie is a tremendous resource to all parties assisting with negotiations of a variety of adverse claims that benefit from Structured Settlements including Personal Physical Injury, Workers’ Compensation and Employment Claims.

Julie’s expertise, creative talents, and efficiency have made her the “go-to” person in the Arcadia National Services office. Her dedication to service is well known among all our clients.




Julie is a licensed Life Agent with the State of Michigan and holds a Structured Settlement Consultant Professional Certification from the University of Notre Dame as well as a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Center for Creative Studies in Detroit.

Michael G. Hathaway




Michael G. Hathaway is well accomplished in the insurance field having spent over 10 years as a liability claims adjuster for a commercial trucking insurance carrier and a well-known TPA, giving him a vast knowledge of claims handling strategies and procedures to better assist his clients. Mike Joined Arcadia in 2014 and his results oriented character allows him to successfully negotiate settlements using the benefits of structures in liability claims or Medicare Set-Aside funding.  He currently assists in providing superior claims consulting service to insurance companies, self-insured companies, TPA's and law firms.  Michael has attended multiple mediations and settlement conferences across the country, helping claims professionals settle cases while saving costs with the use of annuities.




Michael is licensed in the State of Michigan for Life Insurance and licensed in the state of Michigan and New York for Property and Casualty adjusting. 




He holds a B.B.S. from Aquinas College and M.B.A. from Wayne State University.
